Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO Posted August 31 Posted August 31 Medium, fine and very fine abrasive wheels. Finish with felt mop and white polishing for stainless, all powered by the trusty angle grinder. 2 1 Quote

dvd8n Posted September 2 Posted September 2 New taps. I hate plumbing. All the annoyances of home electrics like sorting out other people's bodges lying in an awkward position, but in addition you get to do it in a puddle of poo. D 1 Quote

D I actually enjoy a bit of plumbing, the only issue is having all the right bits to hand. Usually involves a rushed visit to Screwfix mid job. 1 1 Quote

Working in cramped conditions, a plethora of slightly incompatible pipe sizes and fitting styles, the inevitable unavailability of fittings with the right connections and angles on them, the need for weird tools that you never have and awful clean ups afterwards, especially if you did something wrong. Plus there's jobbies involved. I remember once testing a toilet flush valve that I'd just installed, forgetting that I'd disconnected the waste water pipe for access. Shouting "No, no, stop, stop" at a flushing toilet achieves absolutely nothing 🥺 I much prefer house electrics, even when you take into account the slight risk of death. 1 Quote
Popular Post Exitus Posted September 5 Popular Post Posted September 5 New high-level brakelight. In hindsight I probably didn't need to use as FIA-spec rainlight, as it's a bit retina-searing. Still, no one will miss it! 5 6 Quote
