I think they suit the car more than the plastic chrome domes that were their previous and fell off Need to make some better blocks to give ground clearance for the lift now Great piece of kit. Mate of mine has the same one. 👍 3 Quote

I don't really have the ceiling height in my garage, the Westfield and Mx5 would be fine but not the other cars, so it's harder to justify. I'll just need to stick to rolling around on the ground. 2 Quote

Wait until you hit your 60s, you will soon decide that rolling around on the ground is no longer an option 😂 Quote

Popular Post Stuart Davis AO - Devon Cornwall & Somerset Posted July 28 Popular Post Posted July 28 Mrs Stu and I helped with organising my Dad’s 90th Birthday party yesterday. My main contribution was erecting a canopy over the garden stretched between the house, and his old windsurfing mast which served as a flagpole. He did his national service in the Navy and has a lifelong love of the sea so we did a naval theme. I had to climb out of the bedroom window to drill bolts into the outside wall which was actually a lot less scary than I thought it would be. Most traumatic part of the day was definitely half an hour before the party was due to start, when I was trying to tension the canopy a little more and accidentally disconnected the main supporting wire instead! 🤣🤣 I was calling for help from the top of the ladder whilst desperately hanging onto it so it didn’t trash all the flowers underneath. Mrs Stu came to the rescue and I got it sorted with about ten minutes to spare 🤣. Party went well, happy Dad 👍 8 2 Quote

Craigieboy Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Gearbox oil change. All went well without any issues and the little grub screw drain plug worked very well, got the full amount out. 2 Quote
