Satisfying result for an all yellow / black car. Just have to work out now how to get the rivet bodies out from inside the tub / trim gap as will probably rattle about. Done a similar thing. 1 Quote
mega ade Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I think nearly every Westfield on the road has a few rivet heads either in chassis tubing or between fiberglass and alloy and both in my case they don't really rattle around . 1 Quote

Did the same on my orange car - amazing how such a small change can make such a big difference to the look. I was also worried about the rivet bodies rattling - but I can't hear anything over the noise of the ITBs and exhaust.... Quote

Just squirt in plenty of Dinitrol or similar cavity wax and that should quieten them down! 1 Quote

dvd8n Posted Saturday at 14:02 Posted Saturday at 14:02 Had to move my work bench from the shed into the garage as the shed is in the process of falling down. The garage has no power and it's a bit dingy. I was going to buy some Ryobi work lights but they seem expensive and weren't really what I wanted so I knocked my own up from a Ryobi battery adaptor, a buck converter and some led strip: David 1 Quote

joolz Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago This is the typical fodder for the workshop .. TVR Cerbera with faulty MBE 941 ecu - now changed to Emerald K6plus . I never get tired of working on Cerberas ... The track day westy is next on the ramp for a bit of a fettle prior to sending it off for some intake fabrication work on the turbo install. 1 Quote
