Plengnom Posted Sunday at 13:59 Posted Sunday at 13:59 Got to test both on a 1000km trip to Hell and Lånkebanen for some autocross on the rallycross-track. Awesome place to drive, and the osgiken really transformed the car. Really predictable and a lot more grip. This is a just-do-it-upgrade if you got a Mazda diff and use the car on track! The carbonbox made the trip up and down much more enjoyable aswell. Happy! 8 Quote
Kit Car Electronics and Essex AO Posted Sunday at 16:13 Posted Sunday at 16:13 Lots of people on holiday this month, but still a great turnout from the regulars today - the weather was perfect and a little carpark DIY happened as I fitted a BlinkSTOP with new plug & play loom to Paul's incredible Atom 4. Paul always forgets to turn his indicators off, and sure enough it came into use immediately on his drive home 🙂 9 Quote

DIY-Si Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago I've been running chunks of what I think was concrete over, although it could've been a brick or chunk of kerbstone. I couldn't see it until the very last moment as it was the same colour as the road and in dappled shade, although I certainly felt it as it bounced the car into the air! I'm damn glad I didn't go over it a few inches to the right, as I suspect at least the sump and oil pump would've been trashed. Guess I get to practice my aluminum and steel working skills some more in the near future...... 8 Quote

I've very glad it was not the same place though on the driver side as that is where the brake and fuel lines run. If I referb or build another Westi I'd not route them as guided they would be all down the tunnel sides. 2 Quote
Stuart Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago MoT passed this morning - at a new garage because I've moved 120 miles. Car 25 years old and I think must've been one of the first ones with a cat (which needs to be HOT), so I'm pretty relieved. My old place was brilliant - they'd even let me postpone if it rained on MoT day. New one seems friendly enough but I don't get to stay with the car anymore..... 5 Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago And....... breathe!!! The red rocket has a fresh MOT! She had been laid up for 4 months due to work and family commitments (so needed a few quid thrown at her) but I'm so pleased my happy place is back on the road!!! 7 Quote

Yes its nice to stay with your car whilst getting my megablade mot done i was asked to go in the waiting room until I heard this alarming revving, crunching and grinding noise coming from the workshop so I rushed in to find a young lad who looked about 14 trying to work out how to use the westfield reverse gearbox so I promptly turned the key of and asked him to remove himself from the car and he agreed maybe it would be better if I done the brake test outside it passed 2 Quote

God I hate that when you can't stay with the car, I actually get anxiety most times, pacing around like an expectant father. Luckily my usual MOT guy actually wants me to stay sat in the car! Unfortunately he's flipping retired 😭 View from up top of the 4 post lift last MOT 😂😂 I'll probably never get to do that again 😥 1 Quote
