How odd, the browser used on my work laptop (Windows/Chrome) had them all expanded, but this browser (OSX/Chrome) does not.  🙈

I'll shut up and leave a little tip: you can highlight text in a post, and then a pop up will show 'Quote Selection', if you must absolutely quote...

Are you worried about it losing any shape whilst it's off, or have you braced it in any way?

My FW bonnet splayed out a bit when it was off to do the radiator ducting. I got myself worked up a bit when I refitted mine and it wouldn't close properly, but then I remembered reading about how it was a common issue, especially at shows.

It was fine after a couple of days and I'm sure the more experienced owners have all been through it 😁

I agree the edge is nice, but won't be seen. Unless it's inserted into the nose, rather than flush behind the lip.

I used rubber edging strip. I think it's 7mm deep left over from another job. It definitely won't be seen but it gives it higher standard of finish. Just a geeky level attention to detail which floats my boat

My engine cover hangs on the wall.

Fit x2 horizontal wooden bars to the wall.

Drill x2 holes in the return lip of the engine cover 6in back from the front edge. Out of sight.

Fit x2 wood screws in the top wooden batten that fit in the holes in the return lip. Hangs on the wall out of the way.

Tip always place it no where near where you always walk past.. So you don't knock it off. Keeps it virtually dust free, stops it spreading wider and out the way.
