I have a V8 bonnet, didn't realise they were almost a grand and half! 😳 That doesn’t include VAT either, wow. Expensive now.

With the old belts I was sitting on the adjuster so no hope of alteration unless you got out.. I'm definitely not skinny and still can't adjust the lap belt with it done up. Have to undo the whole belt, adjust and guess if it's right then clip it up again.
Ansoeb
Side wind deflectors from Westfield £160 or some 5mm polycarbonate sheet from work - free to a good home. Stainless liftoff hinges left & right hand - Amazon £12. I knocked out the hinge pin, machined them to size to suit the windscreen then drilled & fitted a 3mm grub screw to secure. Tried and tested today, much satisfaction in the process of making and the end result

Craigieboy
Wired up the DRL's. Used the same controller as I've used on a few Mx5 installs and it's never let me down, though required a couple of resistors to work properly. It was fine with a incandescent bulb, but wouldn't recognise the leds. Hardest part was threading the cable up through the sleeve to the headlamps, but I was determined to do it.

I hope you have some blue and orange paint 😉 Julie, you just know I can’t resist a challenge 🤣. I really should have better things to do with my time. From a distance they look ok. Up close they look like some of the early work of a hyperactive toddler set loose with a tray of poster paints 🤪 7 1
Euan Hoosearmy
Finally got the crash pad recovered and fitted. Fake suede. Looks good at the moment, see how it fares over time I have enough material to redo it about 20 times!
Craigieboy
Looks fantastic, you can be proud of that. 🙌 You could always cover your costs by using up the extra fabric on other people's cars...😉

Philb65
Bodged my accelerator cable after it snapped at the pedal. Managed to get home thankfully as I didn’t get very far. If I’d known how it connected I’d probably have been able to fix it properly before my bodge 😆 New cable needed!
