MOT day

Yaay, another easy pass. Even treated it to a tank of Tesco Momentum on the way back. Didn’t actually have much choice about that as it was way lower than usual when parked up last autumn so was running on fumes by the time I was headed home. 
 

Anyhoo, weather was kind and it behaved perfectly so all good for another season. 
 

It’s looking like the crank seals might be weeping a bit, so I think I’ll schedule an engine out and re-seal for winter tinkering.

Snap - I put The Wench through her MOT this morning, no fails, no advisories.  Happy days.  Time to give the old girl a few miles.  If the weather suits, I’ll run her down to the WC Ltd open day in three weeks.

Yep. I left there about 12:30 - was chatting with Steve after the test and looking at some of the pictures from his recent trip to Ukraine.

I'll have to have a chat with him about that when I take mine in - one of my daughters in law is Ukrainian.

He’s a regular visitor, or rather was until last year, but he wanted to go back and meet up with friends.

 

I hope to visit once they have evicted those invading fascist barbarian scum Muscovians, and given Vickie isn’t keen, there’s a good chance I’ll go with Steve as a guide. I said he could pretend I’m his dad do I don’t cramp his style

My lad got married in Kiev in 2018 and we had a fantastic time there. Great city and very lovely people. Breaks my heart and you can imagine my opinion of certain Muscovians....

One presumes therefore that the moderators are perfectly fine with what's happening in Ukraine then. Good to know.

I can assure you that no moderation took place.  If it had, I’d see the evidence as posts are never deleted by the mods, only hidden from public view.  Must have been a blip somewhere.

Thanks Scott. If I see it again, I’ll screen-shot it. I thought I was (not) seeing things at first but tried two different platforms just in case. That, and the content, led to my belief if had been hidden.
