Yep. 😡 The main problems was lower rear right wishbone bolt was impossible to retract without removing the lower motor mount from the frame, which was held on by three nuts / bolts, two of which were inaccessible without obstruction spanners (see above).  The lower motor mount was like sticking my hand into a freshly opened tin, sharp edges on both sides that cut me every time I reached in.  Blood everywhere, but I don’t give up easily.

New driving shoes (to match the car, of course):

 

 

They are surprisingly comfortable for shoes so narrow and should make it easier to drive The Wench without catching two pedals at once (although I wouldn’t recommend walking medium or long distances in them as they have zero arch support).

 

They’re an early birthday present, as I’m now taking a leaf out of my late mother’s playbook.  You could not give her a birthday or Christmas present even a day early or she’d open them if she was left alone.  Her excuse afterwards was always “I’m getting old - I might not make it until then.”, an excuse she first started using at age 43 and carried on until she passed away at age 74.

I was at Piper Cams and Exhausts today collecting something non-Westfield related but absolutely stunning!! 

 

These items jumped into my car and mugged my credit card on the way...

 

Fast road cams, vernier pulleys and followers for a Silvertop Zetec... should let a few more ponies out...

 

Just have to work out how you fit and time them in now...
