Spacedoggy
After much deliberation, I’ve decided advertise my Jaguar XKR. Registered in 2001, she has just 67,000 on the clock. MOT until June 2023. I’ve owned her for the last 8 years, during which time she’s had a pampered life, stored in a dehumidified garage and doing about 1000 miles between annual services. Engine is a 4.0 litre supercharged V8, with 400 bhp power on tap and 0-60 of around 5.5 seconds. Tax is cheap, and during the time I’ve owned her she’s been 100% reliable. Maintenance and servicing have been pretty reasonable too. As mentioned, she’s always stored in dehumidified garage, never goes out on salty winter roads or in the rain. Full set of Michelin Pilot Sport Zero purchased a couple of years ago, with less than 2000 miles on them Hood in great condition Paint work all good. I had her underside wax-oiled when I bought her, and periodically touched up since. Also prior to my ownership, she was in Spain for a number of years. So no real rust issues, unlike most. Preventative maintenance done on gearbox (oil change). Good Service history, including supercharger overhaul. Yearly services at Nene Jag Specialists since 2014. Recent full alignment done. There’s a few small niggles as you might expect of a car that is now 21 years old: The leather on the passenger side seat is slightly cracked. The air conditioning needs attention, although I have bought a new condenser (which will be supplied with the car - I usually have the hood down when I take her out anyway so never got around to having it fitted). Also brake pads will need to be replaced in the next few thousand miles or so (no MOT advisory, but was advised at last service). Finally the voltage gauge in the centre instrument panel is occasionally erratic. Again, a replacement instrument cluster will be supplied with the car, and it’s an easy job to replace it yourself should you wish. I’m probably a bit sentimental, but I had many great times with this car, including driving it to my wedding. Therefore I'd love to see it go to a good home and to someone who’ll appreciate it. And I’ve no doubt it’s a solid investment, as it has been looked after carefully. Therefore, since I know you are all individuals of impeccable taste and refinement (???), I thought I’d list in on here first. 😉 I’m looking for £14000. Please PM me if interested.
