Hi all!

For those of you that can't make the Peaks meet on Sunday with @AndrewBClarke, you are really spoiled for choice!!!

We are doing a couple of meets at the Curborough Sprint course (Netherstowe Lane, Lichfield, WS13 8EJ) on Saturday and Sunday.

A few of us will be doing the Saturday morning Breakfast Meet, aiming to land between 930 and 10am. This meet normally gets a great turnout of classics, kits and other interesting modified cars. It is always worth a visit if you've never been.

We will also be meeting up at about 0930-1000am on Sunday to watch the Sprint action. As with Saturday, it's free entry and the paddock will be open for us to have a wander around the cars.

Whatever you choose to do, wear a hat and factor 50.... its going to be a scorcher!! 😎

What a beautiful day for a meet up!

Steve and I met up early at the services to have a B road blast in his new car (I'm very jealous of the carbon Tillets!)

Arriving at Curborough, it already felt about 30 degrees at 10am! We parked up next to a beautiful aluminium Locost and found Paul (ZX12 MK), Paul (VX220), Hedley and Dan already there. Minutes later Tim arrived in the ecoboost.

After a quick mooch around a few classics we found another Westfield owned by Phil who had made the trip from Telford with his brother riding shotgun. MX5 engined with a Scooby turbo bolted on giving circa 240bhp, it was a beautifully built car with great attention to detail 👍

As we were about to leave, we spotted a very rare car pulling in! It was a Lotus Seven Series 4.... Chatting to its enthusiastic owner, it is running a 4 speed rocket box with a 1740cc crossflow with 130bhp at the wheels and he'd owned since he was 21 years old!

Another visit planned tomorrow, feel free to come along 👍

Well, it seemed even hotter today!

Fab turnout, with loads from the WSCC, a few from NWKCOG that had taken a run over and one couple (in a Luego they'd owned just a few weeks) who arrived later just by pure confidence so joined us in the line up.

In total we had 15 cars 👍

Some beautiful cars on track too, classic Minis, a Manta, Scimitar, Caterhams, Westfields, a few formula fords, and a load of old Austin 7 based racers.

One really unusual car that caught my eye was a Terrapin Mk5. A space framed race car with the front wheel drive engine and gearbox from an old Mini sat behind the driver!

Really great to see you all, hope everyone got home safe and didn't get too sunburnt!
