What a nightmare - I've got a parents' evening in two days and have a lot of marking to catch up on! (Yes, I know I should keep up with it)

Went out for a few hours yesterday and got blown away by loads of lads on bikes!

My fault as I went past about 10 of them when they were parked up and gave them something to think about. Would have been great if I'd meant to do it!

Basically, I was turning off a main road and made of mess of things with the clutch. Gave it massive revs in neutral just as I was passing the leather clad boys. Then whacked it into 1st, dumped the clutch and sent the thing sideways!

They clearly thought I was egging them on as they passed me like I wasn't moving within half a mile!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Still, I had a bl**** big smile on my face the whole time :D

:D......just back from a 150 mile round blat to central London. Saw loads of bikes, 4 Catterhams and even a (spit)  Robin Should, but no Westfields. Come on lads where are you all, the sun's shining, Spring's in the air, so get those bl**** cars out and show the slack-jawed proletariat what motoring is all about.

The biking lads seems to have various places where they meet up on a nice sunny day, without any any special organisation.

Are there any places where 7esk type vehicles meet up, other than the regular Area meets?

Hi all,

I've just got back too. God I hate Sundays...(or more accurately, the drivers that tend to appear on a Sunday).

Had a close thing with a police car too...if I'd caught him about 15 seconds earlier I wouldn't have been doing the 40 I was, more like 85 or 90.

Tailed three bikers (with pillions) for a while behind a slower car, was looking forward to what happened when we got a clear road. What did happen was that the three of them gently accelerated away up to about 60 or so (on the same straight I'd been doing nearly 90 on a little earlier) and then turned off onto a road I knew would be no fun. Bah...

Still, at least I was out giving it a thorough airing! :t-up:

Anyone else on here in the Swindon area who fancies a blat one weekend?

Went down to Oulton Park yesterday what a blast watched some lads doing a trackday. Saw POC's old car, it seemed to be having a few problems with all that plumbing under the bonnet. He was lapping at about 2.02, there was a Radical lapping in 1.48'ish :0 .

I forgot how much you get battered by the wind, i'll take the wind deflectors next time.

Well, I got out in the end afterall.

The missus needed some bread from the shop, so off I went!

Managed a round trip of about half a mile!.

If I hadn't spent so long on the internet today, I could have done more!! Dozy pillock!

Still, if it contiunues to be nice tomorrow, I'm off to work in it for the first time in years.

I've just got back from a weekend in Stratford on Avon with the Mrs

We went into the town for lunch and I was amazed to see over 200 :0 bikes gleaming in the sun by the River   :p  :D

Every Jap screamer, Harleys, Triumphs, Trikes, a Royal Enfield and even a Vincent Black Shadow

Oh, and a red Westfield

:0.......I used to take my Westfield to bike meeting places all the time and was always accepted as an honorary biker; the Westfield being a car that most motorcyclists can relate to, they were always full of questions. Funny thing is, now I ride a Harley the average biker won't give me the time of day - except other Harley owners who treat you like a long lost friend. I'm beginning to know what Robin Hood owners must feel like.

Well I have been clearing the garage I rent today, as it has been sold.

I was just thinking how nice it would be to go for a drive, so I hate you all. ???
