2583.9 miles covered.

£754.35 spent on fuel (using a chase pre pay card so you don’t get hammered for exchange rates and also it is quick and easy to use and unmanned garages/toll roads are no issue either)

Was MPG did you get?

I took euros for camping food and beer etc and pre paid the couple of hotels on card also.

We only had two beers, the first beer and the last beer, the ones in-between don't' count 😉

Not to bad really is it?

Much better than lying on a sunbed with the same views each day etc!

Have you got an idea on the costings of your jaunt @Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO yet?. Trying to see what a roadtrip like this is likely to cost( I'm not made of money 😁 sadly)

When I took my seats out after we got back I found 5p

Can't swear to it being there before we left though.

As a rough guide -

I reckon £1200 in all. Food, coffee stops, beer, two nights in a hotel, camping the other nights, fuel, a few tolls etc.

Euro tunnel was pre booked months ahead and so not included in that (another £160).

I had in my mind around 2K, so your figure would make the bank quite happy. Hope to be out with you all you all, in the next year or so. Need to stop spending cash on the car though...

Doh, I hadn't realised they lock that section out for non-members.

There was one other photo, but not as good as that one
