Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman
Damn! Get well soon to you both. Hopefully it will just be a mild inconvenience for you, rather than feeling too rough.

Captain Colonial
Just now, Terry Everall - WSCC Competition Secretary said: Simon Waterfall has it too Which begs the question: What have the two of you been doing together in close quarters? 🤔 Wishing you all a speedy recovery!
Terry Everall
I have not been near Simon . The two tests are mine and my better half's !
stephenh
All the best, Terry. If it is of any consolation, lots of my friends and family have had it, including several who are quite old (ie older than you and me!) and/or in compromised health, and they have all made a decent quick recovery. They have all been fully vaccinated, fortunately. The exception on vaccines is our youngest grandchild who is only 7 months old so obviously not eligible for the jab. She was quite poorly for about a week, but has bounced right back now.
Simon Waterfall Syman84
I dont know @Terry Everall - WSCC Competition Secretary playing down our relationship . its been a rough couple of days but feel much better today. fingers crossed im clear for my pre departcher test next monday for a business trip to the netherlands. Its funny that a majority of my social circle including many club members here are all quite sensible and have been covid free for 2 years. I know more people in the last week who have had it than in the last 2 years. hay ho War sells better stories than a pandemic so thats why we dont hear about the rise in cases i suppose. dombanks
Hopefully low level symptoms but I've not seen it like it is at the mo before, everyone seems to have it. I had it in jan but I'm amazed it took this long esp with the other half being a teacher and the kids in her asylum thinking that social distancing was not licking each other to see if they tasted of cheese. aeg
Yep, getting over it myself , but like everyone has said been sensible throughout and kept ourselves to ourselves , but come last week felt rough and tested positive couple of days feeling really rough then felt better each day . The other half has tested negative throughout!!!! And we’re still trying to figure out where I caught it ?
Terry Everall
Its hard if not impossible to get Lateral Flow Test kits in York and chemist tells me that they will not get anymore so testing will cease !
Onliest Smeg David
Just on the recovery phase myself. Wasn't too rough, 2 days -ve now but it's still lingering with cough/tiredness/out of breath as soon as start exercise.

Steve (sdh2903)
Everyone's going to get it eventually. Best to get it now before your season fully kicks in 👍
Davep1
On day 6 of being positive, but fortunately I can self isolate completely in our campervan in the garden (still a requirement to S/I in Scotland). Was hoping it wouldnt drag on much longer, but could be here for 3 more days. Has just been like a bad continous headcold, so cant really complain. SootySport
The wife has had COVID twice but I have not. We both carried on as usual at home but strange I haven't caught it yet. We're both fully vaxed up.
