neilwillis Posted February 17, 2004 Author Posted February 17, 2004 He'll be there then, but he wants to have his picture taken! Quote
studbuckle Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 and I thought it was going to be a posh do, not some teddy bears picinic Quote
david.c Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Does he come with his own Top Hat & Tails? Or will Andy have to get him fitted David Quote
adhawkins Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Si, do you really think anything I'm involved in (or you're invited to ) would be described as 'posh'? Pre-fitted tails would be good Neil, if not, I think his outfit looks fine Andy Quote
Mark Stanton Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 *shakes head in total disbelief, that there are 3 pages about a teddy bear* Anyway - I might just be able to raise the stakes to a ride down the Mulsanne Straight in a pucker Le Mans car Quote

neilwillis Posted February 17, 2004 Author Posted February 17, 2004 This bear is going places Mr Stanton! OK, we have a glider ride, coast to coast, Le Mans, a wedding, New York, a guided tour of ESP plastics followed by a seat fitting (only F1 drivers get that sort of treatment usually), but we still haven't got him entered in the Barbados Carnival Rally. Any takers? He is not the sort of bear to dress up in top hat and tails. He thinks he'd just look daft. Nomex race overalls maybe, but he draws the line at a morning suit! Quote

Nomex race overalls maybe, but he draws the line at a morning suit! That would probably do (that was my original idea for the wedding anyway! ) Andy Quote
neilwillis Posted February 17, 2004 Author Posted February 17, 2004 Will the bride be in white nomex too? Quote
adhawkins Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Unfortunately my plan for us being driven around Silverstone while being married never came to pass, so traditional Morning Suits it is Mr. Bear can choose his own attire. I think he looks fine as he is. Andy Quote
Buzz Billsberry Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 The little guy on the left is the latest member of the club. He is currently looking for sponsors in the speed series (a free ride), and when the season arrives, he should have his own carbon fibre look racing seat with 5 point harness, and is guaranteed to knock seconds off your times if you take him along as a co-driver. One thing he lacks at the moment is a name. Any ideas? Its the 1st time I've seen this thread and the mascot is a ginge!! oh my god u now how stroppy giners get!!. No doubt it'll have a big fall out with someone, somewhere and the teddy will be thrown out of the cot. Buzz Quote
neilwillis Posted February 17, 2004 Author Posted February 17, 2004 Hi Buzz, He's not been on a donkey yet, wanna take him for a canter round the paddock? Quote
adhawkins Posted February 17, 2004 Posted February 17, 2004 Neil, when you're updating the merchandise list, any chance of putting some photos on the web pages so that we can see what we're getting? I know they're in Westfield World, but I'm more often near a networked PC than I am my copy of the mag Andy Quote
