Julie Hall - WSCC AO Representative
Big Andy was excited to bring his new car out to see us, a 2 litre Zetec on Omex throttle bodies, with only 3500 miles on the clock it looks brand new. Today was it's first proper drive out and he tells me that it drives a dream, here is a photo of it last week when he first picked it up. And here is a photo of it today in a proper setting, in the Peak District along with a line of other Westfield's, perfect. We were just waiting for a certain cat to arrive, Bagpuss, but his owner had been busy growing his leg hairs. Here he is, looking good in the sunshine with us all At Quackers we found the sun trap and settled down for a bit of sunbathing, just remind me, it is January right? Luke called over to see us in his tin top and updated us with his winter plans for the V8 that he built. We were missing our regulars @RobH72 and @Glynn Walters and hope to see you guys very soon. With our resident pin up boys, the 2 Billies, at the back we set off in convoy for a run over the high roads to take in the views. Destination Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn, Longnor We settled down for our Beef or Lamb carvery After a hearty lunch we needed a sugar hit and we were only a few miles from our favourite homemade cake shop, Hulme End. I found some good company in the car park. It was full inside, so we had takeaway and sat out to eat our brownie and scones, good job we are dressed for it. Thanks for the great company folks, it's been rather a good laugh, covering an eclectic mix of topics I must say, so keep it up and hope to see you next week xxxx

I've edited out most of the white space!
Richard (OldStager)
I was wondering if it was a load of photos of mine, taken at night.... I should point out, I use the black theme, so all the background is black with white text...

Rob Hunter - Club Secretary
Sorry I missed it, looks like you had a great day👍 Unfortunately I was up to my armpits in wiring all day.... I've been having a serious headlight malfunction (they didn't work!) since I swapped from the old Venoms. Ask me to whip an engine out or change a cylinder head and I'm happy, hand me a multimeter and I'm a gibbering wreck! I'd got the indicators and DRL's to work but that was probably more luck than judgement 🤪 The builder had made some strange wiring decisions I just couldnt figure out.... fortunately my eldest son is a real whizzkid with electronics, but even he was flummoxed for hours (which made me feel slightly less inadequate!). I made a number of brews, made encouraging noises and pretended I understood at least half of what he was saying! 😂 Anyway, after 6 hours of troubleshooting it's now sorted and I have dipped and main beam again so all is good in the world 👍
