Calling @corsechris

Can any admins help, please?  I'm trying to message @corsechris but the system says he 'Cannot receive messages'.  Is this because his message box is full?   Or he's forgotten to renew his subs?  Or something else?

 

If Chris gets this... any ideas?  (It's not urgent; it's a welder-based question).  If you can still read this but not messages, I guess that I can always copy the text etc into a new topic.

I’ve sent Chris a message to check his inbox Iain, (admin messages should bypass the mail box size limit!)

 

Chris was on the forum a few hours ago, so still around, no problems there!

can you try again iain, i have just tried to message him myself and it sent just fine.

@OldStager is right, I’ve just had a look back of house, and @corsechris mailbox is only a little over half full.

 

@IainCameron can you try again, please. And if it fails again, can you screenshot the exact failure message, so we can investigate, thanks.

Thanks both; I've just tried again, and realised that I'd put @corsechris in the address bar, instead of just corsechris, and the message has gone fine.  

 

My IT error, not for the first time!  It's still a bit odd that the system said '@corsechris cannot receive messages right now', rather than a warning of an incorrect name in the address bar.

that will be just a default message when it does not recognise the user name, glad you got there anyway
