Somerset Jim
Don't forget the other half day you'll need to dry your right sleeve out. Weather kit only stops the downwards rain not the upwards spray off the front wheels 😀. Oh and the time spent cleaning. Did a 90 minute mountain bike ride yesterday, took me 25 minutes to clean the bike afterwards.

But let’s face it, these are - admittedly perversely - some of the reasons we have these cars and bikes and do these things in the first place! 😀

Pco
I’m weathered up too ready for a 4am start tomorrow and the met office predicting greater than a 95% change of heavy rain. So I’m even taking my gortex motorbike clothes as I’ve got an annoying drip on my knee which I guess comes from the steering column hole 🤣🤣 8 hours ago, Ewan said: Other than its neigh on impossible to get in! Left foot in, weight on the cross rail. Bend forwards, head and upper body in. Move head and body over into passenger space extend left leg and bring right leg in. Right leg on cross rail, move head and body back inline and simultaneously slide down into seat. Madness! Oh, and it helps if steering wheel is quick release. I also recommend checking that the internal kill switch is in place before commencing this process…..😀

I’ve got one coming in Jan. Primarily for ease of installing and entry. How do you find it by comparison with Standard Westfield hood? 😀
