I must say a massive thank you to @DamperMan for his assistance yet again. After he heard about our “Curborough kiss” he asked us to get all the dampers and springs sent to him so he could check them, something I didn’t think of. One damper was beyond repair and another had a bend in the shaft we had not noticed. We need two new ones which he discounted again for us.

 

We chose to collect from Bicester as we where also collecting a nose cone from him. Tony also gave us a guided tour round the factory from start to finish, engineering at its best.
