Usually only once!

 

Otherwise, most I've seen have been done by the owner, and usually with one of those carbon fibre skinning kits.

@Tim Reid (TimDave25) - Joint Thames Valley AO did it I think? Skinned a bare fibre glass crash pad. Don't think it was easy.

I bought a meter but had lots spare. I used three sections to cope with the curve.

I recommend using wrapping paper or similar to map/template your approach.
