murraypollock Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 ** SOLD ** Reluctantly I have decided to sell the Westfield I built in 2007 (registered in 2008). I hardly use it anymore and it just takes up space in the garage. It needs a loving home. For the build, I decided to keep everything as standard as possible. The entire kit was bought brand new from Westfield. Car Details: · Westfield Sport 2000 – SEiW – FW style bodywork · 200BHP Duratec engine with Webber throttle bodies (corrected) · Electric blue · Harness 4pt – black · 7 X 15 Black 1.2 Pro-race wheels · 195 X 50 Avon tyres · A/P Racing 4 pot caliper disc brakes on front · Heater · Heated windscreen Imperfections: · There is blistering and scorching on the fiberglass just where the exhaust manifold exits the bodywork. (see picture below) · Minor scratch right on front of bonnet (see picture below). · Nearside cycle wing has faint scuff marks (see picture below). · Joint between exhaust pipe and silencer re-welded (see picture below). · Normal tiny stone chips on front of rear wings. · Nearside inner CV boot deteriorated · No other known mechanical problems. MOT till March 2022. Only 3,172 miles Hoping to get £9,000+ *** Sorry to mess people around, but several people have now told me I have set expectations too low in terms of price for this car. A more realistic price is around £12,000. I should have checked its value before my initial post. *** ** SOLD ** 1

murraypollock Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 Chris, you are right of course, they are throttle bodies.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Snap it up fast lads, before the seller realises how low he's priced it!

Absolutely, it was a £12k car all day long early last year, and if anything prices for examples like this have crept up somewhat, since. Duratecs aren't that common second hand, either.
