Sounds like me back in the motorbike days, always in bits, rarely saw a road - and if it did was in bits again pretty soon after, a certain Honda Goldwing comes to mind. grrrr. Oh and I moved here from the Wirral - Pensby, wish I was back there.

Chrisn01
Some cracking & intresting careers amongst you guys, can see why Westfield's are the best, built by propper technically minded guys :0) Me on the other hand, am not from a technical background. After leaving College, joined the Royal Military Police which I thoroughly enjoyed. Was always into cars, but one day my OC showed me his Caterham & sparked my intrest in wanting to build a Seven type car. Anyway, did the usual, met a lass, left the Army where I then ended up getting a job in the Casino industry doing Surveillance. That was 15 years ago now and I've been doing eversince, well along with attempting to build a Westfield lol
WINGNUT
Didn't really have a massive interest in cars till my early teens, guess I gained the interest with watching and helping my dad build his 2 Westfield's, a Quantum (for a friend), a Pilgrim Sumo SEV (cobra), before finishing on V8 Westfield again for another friend. After his last build (he lost interest as costs increased and SVA/IVA tests came in to place) I left school and joined Citroën did my full apprenticeship with them and went on to become a consultant technician for them and eventually foreman. Before like most feeling at a loss and the days seemed the same, so jumped ship. I now work as a mechanic still, but for GMP had the chance to move to foreman again but previous mindset deterred me from it and also the politics element (not sure I chose correct now I've had a hernia operation 🙈). So stayed spannering as it can be rewarding pushing a car in and driving it out instead 😂. I guess my job helps with Westfield's and it helps back too. Never managed to build my own as a divorce and not the best wages does cause problems haha. So bought a built one and just try put my stamp on it over time.
