Paul Hurdsfield - Joint Manchester AO
Today we had our first Covid test, we had wait in our room for a knock on the door, then open the door and go to the lift, a guy all suited up in ppe pressed the car park level button, we start our descent. At the car park level we are greeted by a young lady who leads us to some chairs a table and clear acrylic screen. She takes our temperature and blood pressure, then the dreaded swab up your nose. Than it was back to the lift and our room.
GaryD1971
I had my first test yesterday, but I had to suffer the swab across the back of the throat before the nostril intrusion! That was unpleasant as I'm sure anyone else who has had the test will agree... 🤢🤮 Hope yours is negative @Paul Hurdsfield.

Yup, went through a drive in test centre the other week, swabbing the back of my own throat was so difficult, nearly hurled on may own car windscreen several times; turns out I’ve got a really strong gag reflex! Lol! Same here Dave! At least mine was done in the local hospital where a nice nurse done the swab for me! Still had to try really hard not to chunder though. That would have been embarrassing... We got our results today, both negative. This was the third test we have had since March. I don't so much mind the throat swab. But i have a very sensitive conk and the moment that cotton stick (or whatever it is) goes up my nose my eyes start streaming From tomorrow we will be allowed 30 minutes a day out of our room for personal exercise in the pool area, but we can't go in the pool @Julie Hall - Peak District AO
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
When's your eye sight test booked for @Paul Hurdsfield? As I think it important, given the number of 'ladies' you've reported on being served by, so far. I'd hate for you to have any surprises, later on your holiday, once you're released into the 'wild'. You could end up getting, 'injected' before you return to the UK and it may make your 'whole week' 😉

I will save you a place in my pool for when you return, I am sure you will enjoy it😁
