Basically, I want a Lexus GS430 Estate, but that doesn’t exist, so....

Sub £10k (ideally £8k)

Big

Estate

Big engine, don’t mind petrol or diesel

4 wheel drive or rear wheel drive

Decent towing capacity

Auto

Not bothered about miles but must be tidy

Must have heated leather seats

Must have parking sensors from and rear, ideally cameras.
Small wheels

Big squishy tyres

Must not be “sporty” or stand out from the crowd in any way.

Go! I’m thinking E350 Estate maybe?

I ended up with a C250 Cdi estate, which doesn’t really fit the criteria of being particularly big or especially large engined.

Nor does it have small wheels with big squishy tyres, and it does unfortunately have “sporty” suspension.

So, that ticked none of the boxes then...good choice!  But, presumably it ticks the only box that really matters, handbag control approval.  :)

Small wheels, big tyres, non sporty, bigish engine, good towing capacity, leader seats... ticks all the boxes.

It also looks like touring from some angles.

I think too much £££

It is ideal, I love the JDM VIP Elgrand type stuff but you can’t tow with them.

I'm not sure from which angle it looks like a Touring....   From most angles it looks like a posh builders Van.. :)    I was going to lightheartedly  suggest an Allegro Estate but...... I'd not want to get myself in trouble :)

Need a Merc with plenty of room?  This should do the trick.
