I started ripping my CDs to NAS which I can access remotely but soon realised mp3s weren't up to my other media hifi reproduction standards.

So been intending to start up a high res ripping set up. But the time to do it is daunting.

Dave I used DbPoweramp to rip mine as it tags and finds you artwork too. It's a great bit of software and not expensive. You used to get a 21 day full function trial may still be there

Yeah I agree, was a mere teenager when it came out -- ahh the sounds of the past, LOL.

Oh and I did have it, just on another drive, been playing since I found it...

The bloke who sings this - Derek Shulman - became the A&R man who discovered Bon Jovi. Edited for the oldies to add that he was once also known as Simon Dupree

If I hadn't had known who that was Stuart and just listened I would have said it was Peter Gabrial ( spelling?) good track that.

Kenny Loggins early recordings were with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Gentle Giant did some fabulous stuff. They were a fantastic live band too. In my top 5 ever

There's many many great bands that don't get the recognition they warrant for their music.

I didn't even need to search my drives for this one, shame I could not find the great Bon version, but for me as an ex-biker perhaps the best rock band on the planet.

I got caught in the rather large rabbit warren that is YT, and found this. Nothing at all to do with this thread but an hour in and I wonder how they rehearsed this prior to the live performance ?....
