i have posted goldfrapp stuff already, so one with white in the title and one i loved as a kid, sadly i could not find a proper vid of this, there are many covers i found, which as good as they were just did not give that back to the 80's vibe.

Couldn't put the official video on, or others I found, but this one should be ok.

i first became aware of alison, when i bought a cd , when i got it home it wasnt what was on the cover, glad it was boxed incorrectly. the same happened back in the 80's, went in for a tape of status quo, got home to find it was styx... actually i preferred them to status quo, lol....

I've had that happen a few times from 'music shops' (can still find em if ye look!), and mainly been a nice suprise.

Death in Vegas cd was especially good find, but cd had no id on I could decifer until I eventually ripped it and id was picked up by Windows.

yeah i think i used to use hmv. not sure if they are still going or not, but like you all the 'wrong' music was by bands i had never heard of, but was glad i had.  i cant even remember what i had originally wanted when i got the goldfrapp one, but i have since got all of hers now. certainly broadened my music tastes.

Absolutely love this track! 👍

The full war of the worlds album is one of the first albums I remember listening to as it was my dad's fave at the time.

me also, my uncle bought this when the album first came out, he used to play it all the time in his beat up volvo 240, its my fav from the album as well - they did a series of musicals a while back with the first few featuring as many of the original artists as was possible, great watch and of course the music was spot on.

no need to think about this one, with day in the title... a meaningful song for me.
