Oh yeah, forgot about the tidal bits... 🤣 So that's 80% swamp, 10% land bits and 10% tidal bits...😁
GaryD1971
And I'm still not sure which bit I live in yet.... 😂
Nemesis
Well I reckon I can help there..... if you need a boat then it's the Swamp bits, if you have to tie the boat up a lot then it's the tidal bits.... and if a simple bilge pump will work for you then it's got to be land bits..... hope that helps !

As long as the boat is better than those hired out on the Broads I should be OK! 😂 To be fair, I could use all three options at times depending on how the weather treats us Norfolk folk. 😁
Nemesis
I just had a thought..... Westfields are so light.... (with the exception of mine @730KG's) you could mod yours with swamp buggy tires and fit an outboard, the next gen amphibious toy would be born, and.... I must be feeling better because I've concluded that the week wasn't a total write off, I saw 2 otters, some kingfishers and herons.

With the wrong offset and 13" rims with big side walls they do look like they could see their way across the worst that Norfolkshire has to offer! 😂 As for the outboard, I wish you'd thought of that sooner. It would have saved me a fortune on the zetec conversion...
Nemesis
I'm glad to be of service, another positive from the week away was that I managed to buy some mushroom brushes...... I kid you not, one should never wash a mushroom, the dirt/soil/manure should be dry brushed from the mushroom...... this public information is offered freely.....as I'm such a fungi.... (pun intended) Nem...............
