Great to hear you got off to a good start on your adventure.

When you get to the path west of Ilfracombe, there’s a pub in Lee Bay, The Grampus Inn. Haven’t been there for a couple of years, but used to be good beer and food, plus dog friendly. Good place for a pit stop and consider the next incline or two! Enjoy.
