Hi all,

Now that we are back on track I have a concern- tow straps?  Mine is Road 90%/Track 10% so need  to manage both situations?

What have you got and where is it best fixed - Front/rear? Permanent/Temporary?

Show me yours please?

Lots of people just use the roll bar / cage.

i am just making a new one... currently use my cage if needed.. but making a plate with a steel wire hoop and it will mount using the two M6 bolts that hold the lower nose cone plate mounting on...

It is lightweight but hopefully wont have to use too often!

I’m not sure that will be strong enough if you’re buried in the gravel though

How are you attaching it to the chassis?

Hehe..

With the two M6 bolts holding the nose cone bracket on..

Minimum added weight!

Pulling it sideways might be a problem but as you said the cage would make a good substitute.

Hi Martin hope you keeping ok..

Yes side load could be an issue..

Will just have to keep it on the track!!

I have a loop welded onto the chassis at the front.  Just need to remove the number plate for track days.  Had it done when the chassis was being made at Westfield.  That and an extra metal band across under the seats so the lower part of the 6 point harness can be fitted properly.
