Elephant in the room - Stoneleigh 2020- Aug 29/30

So The Organisers have tentatively reset the 29th and 30th for the Stoneleigh Show, whats the clubs view on this and if it goes ahead will the club be attending?

So I'm no wiser🤔 can't we have a dedicated area or thread so that we know what the club thinks. I know it's all mute at the moment until the lockdown is relaxed and we are given some guidance. I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see that the club's on the case and engaged.

Thanks for all your hard work this is not a moan but an observation.

Thanks for your questions above. I've just spoken with @Gail Jones (Shows & Events Coordinator) who's unable to access the internet at the moment.

 

The Stoneleigh Team, are keeping a close eye on the situation and optimistically hope we can have a great Stoneleigh 2020 event. However we've got to follow the government guidelines and at the moment it looks unlikely that social gatherings will be taking place any time soon. We'd worked hard to prepare for the May Event and can transfer this effort over to the August date should the situation look likely. 

 

We'll continue to monitor and will update the members once we've got any news to share etc.
