Sometimes I get asked, but what's the difference between A-Plan and competitors/other brokers?

Without going into the details of things like we aim to answer the phone within 3 rings... there's no press 1 for this, 2 for that... inhouse claims team etc etc - I thought I'd give a more personal view of how I feel that A-Plan stands out, from a staff members perspective.

I'll be honest, I've never worked for a company that's anywhere near as client focused as A-Plan is - it's so refreshing! The amount of training we do to make sure we have the knowledge to support our clients really makes you realise how much they care as a company... I don't think I'll ever leave 😉
To give you an idea of what it's like here too, they have about 1,600 staff across 96 branches. Yet if I take a trip to head office they know who I am, what I look like and a couple of bits about me to ask how my daughter is or if I'm still drawing - even if there's about 20 of us visiting at once.

We've seen our products in action whether that's because of a claim or one of our add-ons (breakdown, excess protection, legal cover etc) - so we know they work and the level of service we expect you to receive from the companies we use to provide these extras.

Our staff genuinely do care about you and I think that makes all the difference than when you go to a direct insurer or a broker that uses a call centre. All feedback that I see that mentions a staff member gets given to them and the amount of staff that keep these little notes in their drawer because they are proud of the service they gave is lovely.

So when you call A-Plan, that's who you are dealing with - not just a company, but individuals that genuinely want to help you 🥰 So if we aren't able to beat your quote or we are on par price-wise, think about the service you've received so far before you've placed your business, as well as the level of cover offered, the knowledge of the staff and how it will benefit you to speak to someone who knows what a kit car is if the worst was to happen... and then think how much you value that, because if you do need us - we will be here.

You are an immense credit to your employer, I hope you are appreciated as much as the high level of regard you are giving to the company and indeed the industry.

You've not mentioned the 24/7 support you give here and on FB too :praise:
