TAFKARM
“Buy a Dualit” they said, “it’ll never break but if it does you can repair it”, they said 4 slice toaster, when we pop the right side down, it trips the circuit breaker in the House. Ive emptied the crumbs, started dismantling it but can’t see anything obvious, what should I be looking for? I assumed the element might be obviously knackered. I’m struggling to dismantle it any further without looking at instructions. I don’t know if my ticker can take the jeopardy of this any help much appreciated... @Kit Car Electronics
TAFKARM
Hmmm, so I’ve given it a test fire while it was stripped and it works now....! Crumbs!
Kit Car Electronics
Sounds like you've fixed it 😀 Burnt toast could conduct enough to cause an earth leakage fault, so maybe removing the cover has shaken a crumb loose?
