Peter Robinson
We were only doing emergency deliveries but as from tonight we are shutting four 4 weeks but probably another four. Staff are all being looked after very well!
AndrewBClarke
Fully appreciate why they are shut and applaud the action as I understand it is because the employer cannot guarantee social distancing. I work by myself selling hand made goods over the internet. There is therefore no reason to stop but I rely on materials delivered by - guess who - Travis Perkins. Who is going to supply the businesses who are COVID 19 compliant with materials? Or does the whole country grind to a stop? As far as self employment help, this is for those directly affected by the restrictions. Technically I am not, as running out of raw materials is not in itself a result of the restrictions, so help is not likely to be forthcoming. I know it is selfish in this emergency but my family’s sole income is likely to dry up and there seems to be little I can do about it. Rant over. Back to gardening now. I hate gardening.
Alan France
I would say you will be covered. If your supplier stops supplying because of Covid you have had to stop because of those restrictions. Can you get materials from anyone else? Jewsons are delivering to account customers only and others may offer a delivery service. My daughter is self employed and she received the Gov. email last night.

Horncastle Branch shut. No idea where the 'open' one is - do you?

We are all still contactable from home and can put you in touch with the nearest delivering branch. Please remember we are shut for a good reason and that is following the government guidelines to protect our staff.
