From 30 March 2020, MOT due dates for cars, motorcycles and light vans will be extended by 6 months. This is being done to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

I thought a 3 month extension possible to align with the original 12 week isolation. After 6 months there will be a fair backlog of cars, light vans and motorbikes needing MOTs and garages could be overloaded.

Yup, just pays to be more vigilant in traffic - some people are really not in any state to be driving at the moment, mentally, way too distracted. And also, just be sensitive in the more built up areas to how you appear; plenty are on edge at the mo, watch the revs/noise etc.
