Does anyone remember the X1/9 with monstrous exhausts that appeared on Top-gear?

Although they took the p***, it looked like they were exits for turbo-jets (you know, when people take a turbo-charger and turn them into jet engines) which could have been quite interesting in it's own right if you had 3 of them bolted into the back of an X1/9 - certainly couldn't have been slower than the standard engine!!

And I reckon the very 1st picture, the guy must have parked in a hole  :durr:  :durr:  :durr:

And the giant spoiler looks like it's been made out of the very finest 6" x 1" floor boards   :sheep:  :sheep:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:  :bangshead:

Nice showing of quality motors.My workmate has the want to be a regular Fart Car mag reader and belies the truth of ' just buying it for the ads' and has the same kind of melamine and MDF machines in there.As for the Focus,bet my wife can beat that in her 1600 focus with the baby in the back!!!
