Pro-race 1.2 Wheels

Good Afternoon All,

I have been in contact with our supplier regarding 13" pro race 1.2 wheels.

What demand is there for 8x13" or 9x13" wheels?

Patrick, based on my experience with my old car (factory built, early 2008 aerosport) a 9" wheel would only fit if the car had extra wide wheel arches. I used 8" latterly on the back, and they only just fitted between the suspension on the inside of the rim and the plane of the outer arch on the outside.

Might be interested in the 9" depending on offset range available. And also, whether they clear Golf callipers!

Just a thought but do you have any contacts for supplying suitable tyres for the wider rims?

Tyre choices seem to be causing issues with some wider rims these days.

Thank you all for the interest so far.

I'll contact our supplier and discuss what offsets would be available.

In relation to tyres for wider width rims. I can always speak with our suppliers.

Yesterday I was able to offer more competitive pricing on our standard range up. If tyre sizes are available I would keep the prices as keen as possible.

For the tyres from F3 teams (used, cheap slicks) for rear 240mm wide the 10" is recommended (9" propably still ok) and for front for 200mm tyres 9" is recommended. I was lately looking for such rims and not too much to choose from. Ended with Revolutionwheels.

If Pro race are cheaper, then the demand propably will appear.

(arches can be extended with spacers)

8x13" inch may be added to the range.

Who has 8" currently fitted to their vehicle and what calipers do you have installed. Can I see some images please.

Ah no help then.

FWIW, would be looking, (going just off on line calculators), at something like a 13"x9" ET 0 rears, to move the outeredge approx 35mm further out.
