Does anyone still make a Carbon nose / Bonnet? Do any members want to sell theirs?

Thanks,

The German Westfield distributor does a lot of very good quality carbon for Westfields, though always best to be sat down when checking the prices.

Siltech does some as well, though they have, I believe, done a slight re-style on them, to avoid any potential claims of copying.

Thanks Dave, do you know if either has a website?

I can only find siltech racing which does the suspension but seemingly nothing else.

Best to call them as their website is well passed being updated etc. They are a small father/son business. Quality and products are great.

@Rednop1 sometimes has them for sale too.

westfield.de is his website.

I have plenty of his items (although not fitted yet, carbon bonnet, nosecone, uprights, front arches)

Great guy to deal with.

As for the Siltech , I had few days ago some e-mail talk with them ( siltechracing@gmail.com ) and they said :

"

We have make wider rear wheel arches for the FW and ZK type of bodies so if you have a high power engine and need wider tires this can be done.

We are also making nose, bonnet, side panels, scuttle, front wheel arches."

But I am not sure if those are carbon ones .

And once I found such composites - forum with such topic  and an User who made some carbon parts.:

If You manage to find a contact to him, please share here ! (or maybe he is known here on WSCC Community ?)

I found that link earlier in the year.  His carbon pedal setup was immense.   I have ZERO time at the moment to event attempt this.  And i doubt its cheap with having to invest in the vacuum bagging carbon kits.

I have thought about trying vacuum bagged carbon sheets though..

I think that real-carbon parts never are cheap. Just might there be some price differences, its worth to have some contacts just in case.

(BTW it is just me who wonders why standart nosecone is so heavy and what for? it is not construction element)
