furtive
Next to some posts, it says that the postee is a "Member" and other posts say "WSCC Member". Stupid question, but what's the difference?
ricdiggle
Memebers are people who have simply joined this BBS. WSCC Members have joined the BBS and have entered their WSCC membership number on a special page. (like me) I can't remember the link to this special page but I'm sure someone will. Hope that's correct and helps.
furtive
Thanks. Thought it must be something like that. Anyone care to tell me where to find this special page then, so I can enter my membership number?
Mark Stanton
You need to be a registered WSCC member to post on the sales / wanted pages. You can register there as well, when you want to sell or buy something. There's a request asking you to register - here you will be asked specific personal Q's incl membership number. That will then note you as a WSCC member rather than a member of the boardroom. Anyone can view the Sale / Wanted section but only WSCC members can post. DavidR
Hi, Having read the post above about registering WSCC membership of the BBs, can you give me a clue where " the special web page" is please? I looked around in profile and account details and it doesn't seem to be the place to find it. Thanks....
Mark Stanton
At the risk of repeating myself Go to the parts for sale or wanted and try and post something You won't be able to until you have entered your private info Its the underlined "click here" - simply read it - don't skip anything and follow the process - you don't need to post an item for sale but you can become a WSCC member as opposed to a member Enjoy
Noel Johnson
Thanks Mark, I'm now a WSCC member!
Peter Cox
At least you didn't make a painful mistake. Me...err...I mean my friend thought that being a WSCC member meant having "WSCC" tattoo'd on his manhood. Could have been worse, at least "WSCC" is an abbreviation. By the way, does anyone know a good skin doctor?
