Nick M
Well, I did go out and buy a petrol radio controlled car last weekend Haven't *quite* managed to get it sideways yet though (it's 4WD) At least it'll give me something to tinker with and I'm going to ask dad to put a web-cam in the garage where the Westy's going to live so I can check it's OK

westy
I have organised the dismantling team for when it arrives. Dont worry Nick you will see lots of your car on the internet, mainly on ebay in the motoring components for sale section

Ric
Who is doing the shipping, and how long will it take and cost? I am probably bring mine back to the UK at the end of March. Ric
Nick M
Who is doing the shipping, and how long will it take and cost? I am probably bring mine back to the UK at the end of March. I'll PM you the details of the companies I spoke to - they're all pretty close but these guys seemed helpful. The cost included collecting the car from our apartment here in Phoenix, trailering it to LA, dealing with Customs formalities, shipping it to Thamesport and insurance cover while en-route was GBP 950. And that's in a container, not on a roll-on, roll-over ship. There may be some costs associated with clearing it in the UK but since dad will be taking care of that we'll sort that one out nearer the time.
