Oily Steve Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 I did the Blyton end of Dec track day a few years ago. It was an interesting experience. We knew we were in for an interesting day when my mate in front towing his Westie on the trailer on the way to Blyton, was sliding on the ice in his 4WD! The first hour or so the track was closed while they de-iced it, after that it was a very slippy track but still good fun and very memorable track day 😀. Enjoy! 1 Quote
TAFKARM Posted December 21, 2019 Author Posted December 21, 2019 I think it will be wet, don’t mind though, Lionel has a roof, but the wipers don’t work! Quote
AdamR Posted December 22, 2019 Posted December 22, 2019 You know what that means... get the grinder out 😁 Quote
TAFKARM Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 I’m not sure how Grindr would help - it would be a distraction I guess! Quote
TAFKARM Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 Great day! Apart from getting the tow car stuck in the mud! 1 Quote

I didn’t see the DONT PARK ON THE GRASS signs, so parked as normal with the tow car on the grass and the trailer on the hard standing. Seeing as I can’t reverse a trailer, as I pulled forward to drive off, after about 10ft the lawn was like a lake. Got stuck. Disconnected the trailer and was still stuck. Mr Mugglestone saved me with his 4x4. 2 Quote
