Removing Tigerbond

has any one any experience of removing items stuck on with Tigerbond without causing damage to whats beneath.

I have rear stone guards fitted that need removing in order to change the Arch, I'm not overly bother about reusing the stone guard but the section of the tub where it is stuck to I'd like to keep in one piece.

 

Thoughts??

wd40 and lots of it. Works on screen bond as well (Don't ask how I know)

Some nylon fishing line works well as a saw-line aswell to prevent damage to the gel coat underneath.
