RTS Motorsport Posted July 26, 2019 Posted July 26, 2019 Hi Guys/gals Just a quick hello really to introduce ourselves. Totally new to the Westfield/Kit Car world, having previously raced Mitsubishi Evo's in the main. Were looking to enter a Westy into Time Attack next year, so i would love to pick peoples brains for opinions, suggestions and reccomendations if thats ok. Weve been kindly invited by Westfield to visit the factory on August 10th to see how they are produced and sit down to discuss options etc so looking forward to that. Many Thanks in advamce 2 Quote

My work takes me away from home Mon through Fri so only home from friday evening through to Monday morning. Thankyou for the invite though 😊 Quote

AdamR Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Hello and welcome! To do well in time attack I think you'll need a lot of the following things: Power - turbo bike engine is a good shout Money - enough said Understeer 😆 Don't listen too much to the factory about handling and setup, try one of our sponsors Look forward to seeing what you get up to 👍 Quote
John Hoyle Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 opened wheeled vehicles are not allowed in time attack ? Quote
AdamR Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 That's what I thought, but there's currently a Westy and a Dax Rush doing well in 2wd pro 👍 Quote
SootySport Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 Ask the WSCC sprinters on their thread https://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/forum/68-speed-series-hill-climbing-racing/ A wealth of info on making a Westfield perform. Quote
