RICHARD+PHILIP Posted December 29, 2003 Share Posted December 29, 2003 Your mate is right it should have a rubber gasket round it. these are available from either burtons or vulcan. mounting carbs solid will make the fuel froth up and you will get less fuel where you want it. Thrustyjust Posted December 29, 2003 Share Posted December 29, 2003 get the 'misab' plates and rubber mounting kit from Burtons.Best kit for the job.Don't get the plastic grooved plates with the 'o' rings fitted in them and the 'spring' mounting kit.crap stuff.
