Andrew Posted June 20, 2019 Posted June 20, 2019 Someone is selling off loads of Tornado aircraft parts on ebay. My son bought a couple of bits that he hoped he could use as rear camber control arms on his CRX, but I don't think he can make them fit. Anyway, I've just searched "Tornado" in ebay, under aircraft parts, and there's tons of stuff. How about an engine? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Aircraft-Tornado-RB199-Rolls-Royce-Engine-comes-complete-with-Cover-Ex-MOD/392217660135?epid=5030422829&hash=item5b51fe8ae7:g:AxoAAOSwH4dcQI30 Just thinking it would be really cool to have something off a fighter jet fitted to my car. Adjustable link thing bought, (two) pictured below: 2 Quote

Andrew Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 Ha ha, .. tbh, I'm not sure if the RAF has a Tornado with a bit of life yet for airshows etc? I suppose modern jets are getting more and more complicated to keep flying beyond their life expectancy.. Quote

RSAF are still flying their GR4/4As so BAE Systems are still underwriting the design certification. 1 Quote
Alan France Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 After the last flight in March the RAF still say they are going to scrap them all. Quote
