Tornado parts on ebay

Recommended Posts

Someone is selling off loads of Tornado aircraft parts on ebay. My son bought a couple of bits that he hoped he could use as rear camber control arms on his CRX, but I don't think he can make them fit.

Anyway, I've just searched "Tornado" in ebay, under aircraft parts, and there's tons of stuff.

How about an engine?

Just thinking it would be really cool to have something off a fighter jet fitted to my car.

Adjustable link thing bought, (two) pictured below:

Titanium turbine blade from a Tornado :)

In about thirty years time there'll be a "Tornado to the sky" restoration programme and they'll be asking for all this stuff back. ;)

Ha ha, .. tbh, I'm not sure if the RAF has a Tornado with a bit of life yet for airshows etc? I suppose modern jets are getting more and more complicated to keep flying beyond their life expectancy..

RSAF are still flying their GR4/4As so BAE Systems are still underwriting the design certification.

After the last flight in March the RAF still say they are going to scrap them all.
