2002 Westfield Megablade Sprint & Hillclimb car for sale

The car is in good condition, with everything in date and ready to go.

Westfield Megablade chassie, MSA/FIA approved cage, with MIRA Homologation cerfiticate.

Orange and black Westfield bodywork, tillet B3.5 carbon fibre seat, customised Caterham R500 dash.

Carbon fibre honeycombe tonneau cover.

 Sabelt harnesses dated until 202, rear bodywork section and wheel arches are removable, to make for a

easy diff change.

Mickmade rear bulk head panel, aluminium side and tunnel panels.

A truly light weight car at approximately 415 KG.

MSA log book and road registered  on an age related 02 plate and also has a V5.

The car could be returned to the road with changes.

2007 Honda CBR 1000RR fireblade engine with ported cylinder head, race cams, race pistons, AB performance, Billet Sump.

.

Approx 185 bhp at the flywheel.

Custom made exhaust, AB performance repackable can, Regtech 60mm core radiator and fan, Davis Craig electric water pump,

 with the latest LCD automatic controller which controls both the pump and fan.

HRC race ECU and Power Commander and custom made loom by Trackelectronics.

Flat shifter system with clutchless up shift and down shift.

New nitron rose jointed race shocks all round (fitted by previous owner) with a soft spring setup.

Custom made front oval tube rose jointed wishbones, standard rear Westfield wishbones.

Front and rear playskool anti roll bars.

New STM slipper clutch assembly with almost new Honda clutch pack.

3.38 Sierra recently rebuilt by Road & Race Transmissions, spare 3.62 Diff.

AB paddle shifter kit, clutch master cylinder upgraded to a bulk head mounted AP Racing 0.625 rather than the

original bike cylinder.

1 set of 8 and 9 inch Force Racing alloy Rims with nearly new A15 slicks with plenty of life, held on with

high quality titanium wheels nuts.

1 spare set of graphite grey compromotive CXR rims with wet tyres.

1 spare set of freshly cut slicks as wet tyres.

Racetech steering wheel with Rapfix Racing removable boss.

Custom made lower steering column fitted with new high quality UJs from AB Performance.

Titan steering rack and Westfield front alloy hubs.

Four pot high spec calipers at front, single pot high spec calipers to the rear.

Break bias bar and twin master cylinders.

GRP deffuser.

Break and clutch peddles from a Juno race car.

Plumbed in life line fire extinguisher ( electronically controlled).

Several spares including, standard Fireblade head, gear box cassette, standard Westfield rear wheel arches.

This is a truly high spec Westfield. I purchased the car late last year (2018) I am struggling to get in and out of the car

due to the full cage, (too big and too old) unfortunately I have not driven the car since purchased and it is as bought.

it is on the button and ready to go.

I am considering this as an option to do hillclimb in Madeira Island versus my initial thought of a BRC CM02.

 

Will look into how much cost to get it move here.

Someone is going to get a fantastic, very quick car..... I should know, I built it. 

 

Get those slicks on and enter class G of the Speed Series.

buy the BANGO...  is more fit for purpose.... And is made in spain.

 

Great westfield tho... Looks fabulous!!

I fitted those rear arches.

 They were a pair from a small batch that were made by Luke at Playskool Motorsport.

Only about four sets were made at the time I think and I don’t know if they are still available.

Contact Luke to see if he would want to do another run of them.

Thanks. I placed a post in the tech forum and Luke got in touch with me. We spoke on Friday and I am buying some off him. I think they look great
