2005(05) Facelift Mini Cooper S JCW (John Cooper Works), Mega spec : Works Aero kit, Works brakes, LSD, Chilli Pack, Chrono Pack, Full leather, Harmon Kardon, Pano Roof, Xenons

Mileage : currently approx 108K miles (will rise slightly). MOT due 12th April 2020

I am the 3rd owner of the car having purchased it in 2013. The car has a very high specification. I searched for a long time to find a well specified R53 facelift JCW example with Chrono pack.

The car was first registered on 5th April 2005, and prior to collection it was dealer fitted with the Official 210bhp John Cooper Works kit (with certificate), comprising the following upgrades:

-          New supercharger with smaller Works pulley & matching belt

-          New Works modified cylinder head (new head with enlarged ports)

-          Works Airbox, including flap which opens at high engine speed

-          JCW high flow injectors

-          JCW Higher temperature spark plugs (NGK BKR 7EQUP)

-          JCW Works Cat back exhaust system

-          ECU reflashed

-          JCW badge set

In addition, the following options were specified:

-          Works Aero kit (front and rear bumpers and side skirts) – dealer fit

-          Limited Slip Differential (LSD)

-          Chilli Pack with interior light package

-          Xenon headlights with wash

-          Darkened rear windows

-          17” Bullet 5 spoke alloys

-          Electric Panoramic Glass roof

-          3 spoke multifunction sports steering wheel

-          Full leather blue/black seats

-          Climate Control

-          Harmon Kardon + BOOST HiFi upgrade

-          Chrono Pack (rev counter and speedo in front of driver)

-          Chrome pack (interior chrome surrounds to gauges)

-          Visibility Pack

I have subsequently had the Works front brake kit fitted by 1320Mini in 2014.

The car has a fully stamped service history as follows:

24/01/2007         10998miles  - Oil Service - Rydale Sutton MINI

02/03/2009         27673miles - Inspection 1 service -  Cooper Norwich MINI

26/06/2010         44527miles - Oil Service - Cooper Norwich MINI

30/03/2012         61710miles  - Inspection 2 service - Cooper Norwich MINI

20/06/2013         69366miles  - Non scheduled Post purchase additional Oil Service and health check by 1320 MINI (MINI specialist)

28/04/2014         72892miles - Oil Service - 1320 MINI (MINI specialist)

03/06/2016         85720miles - Inspection 1 service - 1320 MINI (MINI specialist)

04/07/2018         100706miles - Oil Service - Venture 4x4 Developments (local garage)

In addition to the above I have carried out additional oil services every year of my ownership. The timing chain has also recently been replaced (this is recommended at 100,000 miles)

The paintwork is in good condition considering the age of the car, unfortunately there is a scratch on the driver’s door (see pictures), a parking mark on the passenger side (small scratch – see pictures), a tiny parking mark (tiny dent – I have photographed this but it is hard to see) on the boot lid and also some stone chips around the car. The worst area is the lower front bumper which has extensive stone chips (see detail in pictures). The wheels are in very good condition, with very minor marks and kerbing. Quality Hankook OE spec runflat tyres fitted all round with good tread depth.

The car will be supplied with two keys, unfortunately the remote function on one of them has stopped working, although as a spare it can still be used to lock/unlock and start the car.

The car has been very well looked after and is a joy to drive, however the reality of having 4 young kids which need ferrying about means a 4 seat car is no longer viable, so now really need a 2nd car with 5 seats, and sadly the MINI is now up for sale

Price £SOLD

The car is located in South Warwickshire (Shipston On Stour)
