Recommend me a multi tool

After breaking a “maplin special” and now a Dremel 3000 has given up the ghost after not much service, any recommendations for a replacement Dremel alternative. 

Ideally one that I can use all the same bits.

Honestly, the cheapo Parkside model from (I think it was) Lidl has lasted me 4 years of abuse brilliantly. 

Oh and the Maplin one I bought prior to it lasted about a month!

Used my Dremel a lot and never had an issue. What is it your want to do with it? I ask as they are meant for small detail work, if it is heavier work a combination of sanding drums and a Black and Decker powerfile is what I use.

Mines just started turning on and off as if a dodgy connection, I’ve stripped it and rebuilt but it’s still on the fritz.

Mostly used for trimming my carbon effect GRP, currently tweaking my GRP seats, previous job was polishing the inside of my inlet manifold.

I have one but still use the £20 Aldi/Lidl special most of the time.

Oops, I bought another dremel :/
