Morning All,

I have one AIM Digi Dash ex demo unit available, no wiring or plugs. Item has wear and tear, please see images below. Sold as seen, open to offers. 

To suit Sport 250 only.

Interested also why its marked for the Sport 250 only.

 

Did i read somewhere some Zetec owners having issues with getting all the inputs to work?

Bet it's to do with the loom, and it's reliance on connection to the CAN buss thing-a-ma-bob, and also there are resisters in the pigtails, but thats only for indicators

No issues with the inputs on my Strada 1.2 but I can't get it to rear data from my Omex ecu.

Interesting, how are you picking up engine RPM etc then bud?

Via the RPM feed through the standard westfield harness and into one of the inputs into the dash.

At a guess it’s a diplomatic way of saying it’s configured for a Sport 250, and any loom the factory could supply would be Sport 250 specific.

It would need clarification from the factory, but unless it’s running some kind of modified firmware etc and is somehow locked down, I would have thought it should be possible to wipe the configuration and start again. HOWEVER, WSC Ltd only use it in one configuration so far, so I’m guessing there would be little to no knowledge, (at the factory),at the moment, of reconfiguring for other engine options.

That was it, you had some  OMEX600 issues, i remember the thread and you mentioned about getting the DashPro2

Easy enough to reconfigure for any use IF you can buy a new pigtail loom for it separately?

Yeah I did. But the Strada solves issues with display lights and other things that you need for IVA. It is also really thick and stands off the dash quite a bit.

If I was building another I would use the Dashpro2 I think or standard clocks !

Yep, was going to add, looms are available from AiM, or Luke at Playskool is an AiM dealer and can supply all the bits you might need. - if the factory can’t.

I'm not 100% certain behind the reason it's listed for Sport 250 only. I shall confer with Technical and come back with an answer. May be a day or two before my reply.
