Bits left over. What are they for?

I've just finished putting all my rear suspension back together after replacing all the bushes and rod-ends.

One small problem though. Have you ever taken something apart and when you put it all back together again there are some parts left over? Well, these looks fairly important. Any ideas? 7/16" ID, 1/2" OD so they are possibly a spacer for the rod-ends to allow full articulation of the joint - one either side?  Could be where the damper attaches to the upright?  I have three of them in total(?).  An odd number would point to the fact I have one still on the car.  However, I can't see one.  In fact, everything looks fine on the back-end.

Just to add, the bootbox, harnesses and seats are all out at the moment too.

Any clues?
