I`m in the process of sorting out my storage / boot box / boot lid etc. Decided to get a waterproof bag in the meantime - seems like a very convenient & versatile solution. And cheap too. The top closes with a wide velcro, rolls down for preventing water access. Mine is quite fully packed with a helmet, clothes etc, but less full would fit flush with the top lid too. Only £25 on amazon inc. delivery. Comes with a shoulder strap as well.
